The Sharpsafe® Large Range Accessories are purpose-built to support safe, efficient sharps disposal in high-demand clinical environments. Designed to enable Near Patient Sharps Disposal (NPSD) systems, these accessories help reduce the risk of injury by ensuring containers are always accessible and used at the point of care.

Reusable and compatible with multiple container sizes across the Sharpsafe® range, these accessories offer the flexibility to adapt to varying patient volumes and clinical workflows. They are also easy to clean, supporting infection prevention and control protocols in all healthcare settings.

By keeping sharps containers at the point of use, these accessories help healthcare providers meet the requirements of EU Directive 2010/32/EU on the prevention of sharps injuries.

The range includes:
• Backing Plate Bracket – Adaptable to a wide variety of existing horizontal rails and trolleys, this bracket allows containers to be securely mounted in diverse clinical environments.
• Stand – Available for the 9L and 13L containers, the stand provides enhanced stability in high-activity areas, reducing the risk of tipping or movement during use.
• Wall Loop – A discreet, lightweight metal bracket designed to mount larger containers securely to the wall. Ideal for saving counter space and improving cleaning access in clinical areas.
• Trolleys – A safe and mobile solution for storing and transporting larger sharps containers. Each trolley features locking wheels for secure positioning and is compatible with all sizes in the large range, including both standard and protected access containers.
