Our Hush Plugz® Ear Plugs range features both foam and silicone options for soft, comfortable, and easy fit ear plugs for a variety of uses.

Our Hush Plugz® Foam are highly suitable to reduce background noise when sleeping, studying or travelling, or even working. Manufactured from high performance memory foam, these ear plugs offer improved noise reduction over previous Hush Plugz® products. Hush Plugz Foam Earplugs are CE marked and have been manufactured to comply with BS EN 352-2:2002, the harmonised standard for hearing protectors and have a decibel reduction rating, known as a Single Number Rating (SNR), which can be used as a guide to their noise reduction capability.

Our Hush Plugz® Silicone range are ideal for aiding a restful nights sleep, or to relax. The pure and safe medical grade silicone is easy to mould and offer a modern alternative to wax.

Use of Hush Plugz Silicone as an Orthodontic Bracket Protector

We have recently become aware of the existence of internet blogs which suggest the potential use of silicone earplugs as a means of protecting the soft tissues of the mouth from the occasionally rough surfaces of orthodontic brackets (“braces”). We wish to make it very clear that Robinson Healthcare Silicone HushPlugz are not indicated nor tested for this “off-label” application, and we do not therefore condone their use for any form of dental or intraoral use. Any such use would be at the sole risk of the user. Should you be experiencing difficulties with your orthodontic appliance, you should consult your Orthodontic Specialist immediately, who will be able to suggest an appropriate treatment, which can include the use of Dental Wax, Dental Silicone or a Lip Protector (“Brace Guard”).
