Ultra Four Multi Layer System

Ultra Four® is a multi-layer compression bandage system for the management of venous leg ulcers and associated conditions. Supplied as a series of kits to suit various aetiologies and ankle circumferences, Ultra Four® is clinically proven to be an effective method of treatment. Ultra Four® kits are supplied in a handy bag with a carry handle for ease of transportation when used in the community. Each bag contains an insert card, which has full, easy to follow, step-by-step instructions for use.

Our Ultra Four® products are clinically proven to be effective, achieving an 83% healing rate on leg ulcerations in 20 weeks.1

The kits consist of four layered bandages:
– Layer 1: Ultra Soft Bandage – a soft and protective bandage used as the first layer in the multi-layer compression system, or can be used alone as an absrobent orthopaedic padding.
– Layer 2: Ultra Lite Bandage – a type 2 soft crepe bandage designed to offer light support, absorbency, and provide a firm base perserving the elastic energy of the compression layers. Can also be used alone to support and retain dressings.
– Layer 3: Ultra Plus Bandage – a type 3a light compression bandage applied in a figure-of-eight. Features a central line to aid alignment during application.
– Layer 4: Ultra Fast Bandage – a type 3b cohesive compression bandage that adheres to itself, not skin or clothes, to maintain support and compression. Can also be used alone as a compression bandage to support strains and sprains.
